چکیده
The paper presents the analysis of foreign, Russian and national publications about pests millet crops during their vegetation. Pests belonging to different families orders dominate globally damage whole period development: sprouts, vegetative (leaves stalks) generative organs. It’s established that corn borer (Ostrinia nubilalis Hbn.) is most dangerous phytophage common African in Belarus. In 2021 caused by at milk-dough stage was 87,5–90,0 % 15,0–34,0 respectively.

متن کاملCover crops and control of arthropod pests of agriculture
Cover crops can harbor both harmful and beneficial arthropods (1, 3). Damage to cover crops themselves is rarely of concern; more important is the possibility that pests harbored amid cover crops may disperse to adjoining cash crops [see Kennedy and Margolies (31) for a discussion of the dynamics of such mobile pests]. Here, I explore the roles that cover crops play in the life cycles and popul...
متن کاملThe impact of secondary pests on Bacillus thuringiensis (Bt) crops.
The intensification of agriculture and the development of synthetic insecticides enabled worldwide grain production to more than double in the last third of the 20th century. However, the heavy dependence and, in some cases, overuse of insecticides has been responsible for negative environmental and ecological impacts across the globe, such as a reduction in biodiversity, insect resistance to i...
متن کاملBt crops benefit natural enemies to control non-target pests
Crops producing insecticidal crystal (Cry) proteins from Bacillus thuringiensis (Bt) control important lepidopteran pests. However, pests such as aphids not susceptible to Cry proteins may require other integrated pest management (IPM) tactics, including biological control. We fed aphids on Bt and non-Bt plants and analyzed the Bt protein residue in aphids and compared the effects of Bt plants ...
